Premier Hardwood Floors looks forward to making the scheduling, start, and completion of your hardwood floors project easy and with your complete satisfaction.
Here are some things to help you understand this process, and help prepare you for the start of your exciting hardwood flooring project. We will be in close contact with you to answer any questions you have as the work proceeds.
Choosing First Your Desired Hardwood Flooring Requirements
To understand your requirements for your hardwood flooring project, and to complete our Work Proposal for you, we will help you choose the what type(s) of hardwood flooring and supporting subflooring you want. Premier Hardwood Floors has the experience and resources to install nearly any type of flooring you desire. In addition, we can take care of any other needs related to your flooring project, such as removing carpeting or tile, trimwork, repainting, and other.

Booking Us for Your Project and Scheduling Payments
Due to our typical schedule of projects, we generally will need you to book two weeks in advance of when you desire your project to start. However, we suggest you call us now, since we may be finishing a project early and can start yours sooner.
Before work is officially scheduled, we require you to sign the Work Proposal, and provide it to us along with a deposit for 1/3 of the total project cost. On or shortly after project completion, we will expect payment for the project balance.
For your convenience, we accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, checks and cash.
Estimating Time to Complete Your Job
Our discussions with you and our Work Proposal will include an estimate of amount of time needed to complete your job. This will be an estimate based on our experience in the hardwood flooring industry, and on the specific requirements of your project. However, sometimes a project may take longer than anticipated due to weather conditions or unusual factors.
Arranging Access to Your Job Site
As part of scheduling the start of your project, we will confirm arrangements with you for access to your job site. This will include meeting you at your location before project start, and daily access can be accomplished with either authorized access (key or access security code), arrangements with yourself or your representative for daily access, or using a combination lock box while the work is being completed.

Daily Schedule of Work Crews
Our professional and experienced work crews will generally work consecutive days on at your location until your project is done. While they will report to your location at generally the same time each morning, the actual start time on any given day can vary somewhat due to traffic or weather conditions, or due to the need to procure materials for your hardwood flooring project.
Choosing Your Desired Hardwood Flooring Stain(s)
Once your hardwood flooring has been installed, and we have begun the sanding process for your new flooring, it will be time to decide the exact color of any stain(s) to be used. We will show you a nice selection of stains from which to choose, and help you in your decision making. This may include doing a stain test for your review and approval.
